Preparations and precautions before start-up

a. Comprehensively check whether the mechanical seal, as well as the auxiliary devices and pipelines are installed and meet the technical requirements.

b. Carry out static pressure test before the mechanical seal is started to check whether the mechanical seal has leakage. If there are many leaks, the cause should be investigated and eliminated. If it still does not work, it should be disassembled and checked and reinstalled. Generally, the static pressure test pressure is 2~3 kg/square centimeter.

c. Press the pump to rotate the car and check whether it is light and even. If the wheel is strenuous or does not move, it should be checked whether the assembly size is wrong and whether the installation is reasonable.

Installation and decommissioning

a. Keep the sealing chamber filled with liquid before starting. For the transport of solidified media, the sealing chamber is heated with steam to melt the medium. The car must be turned before starting to prevent the soft ring from breaking due to sudden start.

b. For the mechanical seal using the pump external oil sealing system, the oil sealing system should be started first. Finally stop the oil sealing system after parking.

c. After the hot oil pump is stopped, the cooling water of the sealing chamber and the end face seal cannot be stopped immediately, and the cooling water can only be stopped when the oil temperature at the end face seal drops below 80 degrees to avoid damage to the sealing parts.

a. If there is a slight leakage after the pump is started, it should be observed for a period of time. If the leakage is still not reduced after 4 hours of continuous operation, the pump should be stopped for inspection.

b. The operating pressure of the pump should be stable, and the pressure fluctuation should not be more than 1 kg/square centimeter.

c. During the operation of the pump, the phenomenon of pumping should be avoided to avoid dry friction and seal damage on the sealing surface.

d. The sealing situation should be checked frequently. In operation, when its leakage exceeds the standard, heavy oil is not more than 5 drops / min, light oil is not more than 10 / min, if there is still no improvement trend within 2-3 days, the pump bolt should be stopped to check the sealing device.
